The concept of the Navman Navigators project was to build a Staff Training Tool and convenient repository for Retailers who stock Navman Products.
The Staff Training module allows staff members to log in and view training videos designed to explain and demonstrate various features and functions of new products.
Once viewed, the staff member can take part in a "quiz" designed to test their new knowledge with the sole intention of ensuring they are qualified to pass that data on to their customers. Scores and history are stored and reported back to the Administrators.
As an incentive, Navman rewarded their staff with complimentary Movie Tickets once they have accumulated sufficient credits.
All administered from head office, the tool maximises the efficiency of training material distribution and ensured that retail staff are informed, and as up to date, as possible.
